Google's Task Mate gives money for performing tasks

Google has begun the trial of its Task Mate in the country that enables one to earn money by completing small tasks. The app classifies tasks as sitting tasks and field tasks, and they range from clicking pictures of stores, recording sentences, translating a sentence in your local language and transcribing. The field tasks shall be provided according to user location. The app, though available on Playstore, requires one to have a referral code to sign up and take up tasks as it is currently in the early access beta testing phase. One can receive the referral code only via invite.

Once the task is approved, you shall be paid in local currency which is transferred to bank accounts or e-wallets. The chores are either from Google or by businesses across the globe. Google claims the data is to "help improve mapping services and bring businesses in your local area online."

The app bears resemblance to Google Opinion Rewards App wherein one gets paid in Playstore credits for answering questions whereas Task Mate involves money. The app was initially identified and reported by 9to5google.
