Apple's MacBook and iPhone 12 Pro top the most innovative devices in 2020

Every year we witness a massive surge in the devices launched across categories. While most of the devices follow the ongoing trends to meet our lifestyle demands, there have been a few devices launched in 2020 that are both innovative and offer ground-breaking technology or feature.
According to Money Control, an Indian based online news website, five devices have won hearts for its innovation and features in 2020. Among them are Apple's recently launched 12 pro which comes with not one but two innovations. Its LiDar scanner uses a laser to detect depth, allowing the phone to create a depth map of the surrounding area and thereby helping this iPhone device get a massive jump in augmented reality and photography. Its second innovation is the new MagSafe charger that snaps into place using magnets. This according to Money control could pave the iPhone's future by getting rid of the ports on the device and moving to magnetic charging.
Another Apple product that has grabbed attention for innovative features is the Macbook with M1 SoC.
With the launch of this device in the M series of SoC, Apple has moved away from Intel chipsets and introduced its own processor. The M1 SoC is now available on Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and Mac Mini. Another winning feature is the new processor that offers twice the performance and provides a significant improvement in battery life on the notebooks.
Although foldable phones have been around since 2018, according to MoneyControl Samsung's LG has stood out with its Wing smartphone. Although it looks like a standard device at first, its complete innovation lies in its swivel mode. The LG Wing when its display is pushed up swivels into horizontal view with a second mini touchscreen becoming accessible for usage.
The DJI whose Osmo Pocket 2 was a revolutionary product when launched in 2018 has launched its successor in 2020. Money Control opines it as a gamechanger for content creators as this compact device offers 4k HDR video recording with 4x lossless zoom.
Sony's PlayStation 5 is the next-generation gaming console which is set to change the console gaming experience with its features. Its custom CPU and an ultra-high-speed SSD storage enable games to load faster and deliver a smooth gaming experience.
The last one being the Samsung Sero is one of its kind Lifestyle TV with a QLED panel. What makes it stand out is its ability to switch between horizontal and vertical orientation when required.
