Paris: AI-generated personalities are set to pose huge challenge to social media influencers, according to news agency AFP.

AI-generated Instagramers, TikTokers and YouTubers including the most notables of all Aitana Lopez have huge fan following.

Posing huge completion to human influencers, Aitana has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram.

What with her pink hair, appearing in lingerie, swimsuits or gym outfits, she is called ‘ gamer at heart’ and fitness lover’, according to the report.

The Clueless, a Barcelona-based company that created Aitana reportedly called itself an ‘AI modeling agency’, is looking forward to ‘redefine the world of influencers’.

The company created the AI influencer to tackle the ‘rising cost’ linked to human influencers, according to Sofia Novales, a project manager at the company. "Virtual models, being digital, present a more economical alternative," Novales was quoted as saying.

Novales also cited the advantage of ‘unparalleled creative control’ over the AI influencer which allows ‘seamless decision-making on image, fashion, and aesthetics without the need for physical photoshoots.’

Just as AI influencers are becoming more common, deepfake videos raise concerns about privacy.

Given this rising concerns, Meta which owns Facebook and Instagram offered to put ‘ Made with AI labels’ on AI-generated contents.

Signalling at greater potential for growth in AI modeling, influence market, according o Allied Market Research, can grow from $16.5 billion in 2022 to nearly $200 billion by 2032, creating business opportunity for content creators.
