Bambolim: In a thrilling match at GMC Stadium, Bambolim on Sunday Kerala Blasters ended Chennayin campaign. In the 10th minute of the match Fatkhulo Fatkhulloev scored gave the lead for Chennayin FC, Gary hooper equalised the match in the 29th minute.

Chennayin created a number of chances in the early minutes of the match. Chennayin struggle to score from the advantage until Marina Machans successful in breaching defence which resulted in a goal by Fatkhulo Fatkhulloev. Chennayin attempted Fatkhulo Fatkhulloev to double the lead but failed to score from the advantages. Kerala earned a penalty from a mistake from Deepak Tangri handling inside the box. Hooper netted the ball without a mistake.

Second half witnessed more thrilling moments in the match. Both the teams played rigours game. Chennayin FC was reduced to ten after Sipovic being awarded the second yellow in the match.After a sloppy first half Kerala Blasters pressed in the second quarter.Kerala constantly pressed to make result out of numerical advantage. Chennayin defence did well in defending.Chennayin defence exhibited exemplary defence in the final minutes of the match

Chennayin Fc player Lallianzuala Chhangte awarded 'Hero of the Match' for his wonderful performance. Chennayin FC winger continuously trouble the Yellow Army. Chhangte was lynchpin in triggering the Chennayin attack in furious rhythm. He crafted four crosses and is involved in six ball recoveries.

Chennayin FC is ended the campaign in the 7th addition of Indian Super League with 20 points and 8th on the table while Kerala Blasters is just above the bottom line of table with 17 points and one match remaining. Kerala Blasters will meet Northeast United FC at Thilak Maidan Stadium on 26 February for the last match of this season.
