Barcelona manager Xavi denies reports related to Augueros retirement

On Saturday, news agencies reported that Argentine International and Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero is retiring from football due to cardiac complications. Barcelona substituted Aguero during the match against Alaves last month after chest pain.

Initially, it was reported that he would be back to the ground after three months. A tweet from Barcelona journalist and streamer Gerard Romero said, "Kun Aguero retires. Heart problems force him to leave football activity". Gerard Romero further added that he would make an official announcement by the end of this week.

After a legendary career with Manchester City, Aguero joined Barcelone this season. He missed the initial matches of the season due to injury in the training session. Aguero collapsed in the field during the match against Alaves in November. Indeed, this news is the worst about a footballer.

This marks the premature death of a career at the age of 33. Aguero is the greatest goal scorer in the city's history, with 260 goals in 390 appearances. Clinical precision in scoring goals and physical strength makes strikers dangerous in the modern-day game.

Former teammate and friend Samir Nasiri confirmed the retirement. A statement by Nasiri to Canal+ France is lows "Kun just sent me a message and, unfortunately, it's true" . "I'm really sad about it. He's been a player that everyone knows. "He's been a fantastic player, and he's a great person." a former French footballer added.

After the match against Espanyol , Barca manager Xavi said that "What's come out isn't true." Football fans across the globe are waiting for the official confirmation and press meet expected by the end of this week
