Imran Khan edges Kohli in ICC's highest rated captain poll
text_fieldsNew Delhi: Former Pakistan cricket team captain, and now the prime minister of the country, has edged, Indian skipper Virat Kohli in an online poll conducted by the International Cricket Council to find the highest rated captain.
Imran Khan secured 47.3 percent of votes narrowly edging Kohli with just 1.1% of votes where 5,36,346 fans in total marked their ratings.
Other contesters in the list were AB de Villiers of South Africa and Meg Lanning, who currently captains Australia's national women's team. AB de Villiers got 6% of votes whereas only 0.5 votes were polled in favour of the woman cricketer.

Imran Khan, as captain, has a test average of 52.34 with the bat and 20.26 with the ball.
On Tuesday, Kohli, who is back home from Australia after the first Test for the birth of his first child, was replaced by Steven Smith in the second position in the ICC rankings for Test batsmen, where New Zealand's Kane Williamson was at the top.
