Activist Zainab Siddiqui responds to UP Police raid at her home

Zainab Siddiqui, an activist and a Social worker based in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh alleged that Uttar Pradesh police on November 6 raided her house without any search warrant.

They arrested her father, and her brother was taken away by police and and kept in lockup. He was mercilessly beaten up in police custody, communal and racial slurs were used to address them.

She also alleged that her father was 'molested' during interrogation for being a Muslim and called names like 'terrorists'.

Female members of her family were manhandled by police. They kept misbehaving with her sister and mother, snatched their clothes.

Zainab and her family is in dilemma for facing such discrimination and she is determined to fight for protecting her father and family who are being framed illegally as claimed by her.
