UAE: Indian passport, visa services move to AlHind centres from today
text_fieldsThe Embassy of India in the UAE has announced that consular, passport, visa and attestation services have been outsourced to AlHind Tours & Travels from today, Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
The services will now be provided through 16 Indian Consular Application Centres across the UAE.
Following the shift, these services will no longer be available at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of India in Dubai.
Applicants can book appointments online through consularsevainuae.com. Appointment slots will be released daily at 9am and 9pm.
All Indian Consular Application Centres will operate from 8am to 6pm. Applicants will be allowed to enter the centre only 15 minutes before their appointment time.
Walk-in services will be available at all centres for Tatkal passport applications, newborn cases, Emergency Certificates and senior citizens aged 60 and above. These will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
AlHind will charge a service fee of Dh19, inclusive of VAT, in addition to Government of India fees.
The service charge includes ancillary services linked to passport, visa and attestation applications, including form filling, photographs, typing, domestic courier, printouts and photocopies.
