Dubai to add 3 hospitals, 33 health centres by 2033

Dubai is set to witness a significant expansion of its healthcare infrastructure, with plans to build three new hospitals and 33 primary healthcare centres by 2033. The initiative, announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is part of a broader strategy to improve healthcare accessibility across rural and newly developed areas of the emirate.

The announcement came during a recent meeting of the Executive Council of Dubai, where several strategic policies were also approved to enhance public services and community wellbeing.

Among the new initiatives is a policy aimed at increasing the enrollment of Emirati students in high-performing private schools. The plan will streamline the admission process for institutions rated ‘Good’ or above, thereby promoting quality education among UAE nationals.

To further strengthen family support systems, the council approved the establishment of a Unified Family Care Centre. This facility will offer integrated guidance and support services for families across the emirate.

In a move toward environmental sustainability, the council also endorsed a Smart Buildings Policy. The policy promotes the use of advanced technologies to conserve energy and water, with the goal of reducing operational costs and enhancing overall efficiency across Dubai’s built environment.

These developments reflect Dubai’s continued focus on long-term social, educational, and environmental progress as part of its broader vision for the future.
