Dubai Taxi Company signs agreement to expand services in Ajman

Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with AJ Industries (AJI) to explore a strategic partnership aimed at expanding mobility services in Ajman.

The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between the two companies, combining AJI’s local market knowledge with DTC’s operational experience, digital infrastructure and transport services.

DTC said the partnership is intended to support the development of a more integrated transport network in Ajman while improving mobility options for residents and visitors.

Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, Group Chief Executive of DTC, said the company already operates school bus services in Ajman in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.

He said the agreement represents a step in DTC’s wider plans to expand its presence across the UAE by bringing its transport expertise, digital platforms and mobility services to the emirate.

Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Group Chief Executive of AJ Industries, said the partnership would support the introduction of technology-based transport solutions tailored to Ajman’s requirements.

Under the memorandum, the two sides will explore operational and commercial models for a scalable mobility platform that could serve both mass-market and premium transport segments.

The proposed platform is also intended to provide a model that could be replicated in other parts of the UAE.

Areas under study include the integration of e-hailing platforms such as Bolt into Ajman’s taxi network, improvements to fleet operations and the enhancement of digital booking and dispatch systems.

The agreement also covers opportunities to introduce flexible driver supply solutions to help transport operators meet demand and maintain service standards.

In addition, the two companies will assess ways to develop the limousine sector in Ajman through higher service standards, fleet upgrades and the use of advanced technology platforms.

The memorandum also provides a framework for exploring corporate transport services, tourism partnerships and on-demand premium mobility solutions.
