Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced an ambitious initiative aimed at training 5,000 UAE nationals in advanced technological skills. The program, revealed on social media platform X, will focus on equipping citizens with future technologies over the next five years, with the goal of preparing them for roles in the private technology sector.

“This initiative will train the 5,000 beneficiaries in future technologies over the next five years, preparing them for employment in private companies in the technology sector”, Sheikh Hamdan said.

The plan is part of a broader strategy designed to promote startup growth, support local talent, and drive innovation and entrepreneurship across Dubai.

“This initiative is part of a package of projects designed to foster startup growth, support national talent, and drive innovation and entrepreneurship. Dubai is a city that doesn't just compete globally—it creates its own future by nurturing national talent and offering an environment that encourages creativity and leadership”, he added.

The Crown Prince also emphasized that the initiative aligns with Dubai's goal of strengthening its position as a leader in the global digital economy. “This initiative is a testament to our commitment to building a strong, sustainable digital economy for our future generations, positioning Dubai at the forefront of the world’s cities”.
