Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan meets Elon Musk in Dubai

Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum hosted technology entrepreneur Elon Musk, owner of X and chief executive of Tesla, at his majlis in Nad Al Sheba.
Sheikh Hamdan posted on X several photos from the visit, including an image showing him driving while Musk sat in the passenger seat.
Commenting on the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan wrote, “I thoroughly enjoyed a wide-ranging discussion with Elon Musk on space, technology and humanity. Excited to see what the future holds".
In a separate post on X, Sheikh Hamdan said, "During the meeting, we emphasised our pride in the partnerships that bring together the UAE with global economic leaders and changemakers".
He added that this approach is rooted in the country’s "belief that cooperation is the real driver of progress and that the next phase requires an integrated partnership between the government and private sectors".
Sheikh Hamdan also said, "In Dubai, we are working to consolidate the emirate's position as a global capital for the digital economy through a sustainable future system that places people at the heart of development and creates promising opportunities for future generations in the UAE and around the world".
