Burj Khalifa lights up to commemorate Lulu's achievement
text_fieldsThe World's tallest tower Burj Khalifa lit up on Saturday night to honour the Lulu Group International as it celebrated the double century in the opening of the number of franchises. The congratulatory note sparked as 'Thank you Lulu' in Malayalam, Arabic, English and Hindi.
The Burj also flashed that Lulu's delightful achievement as a matter of pride. The hypermarket, founded by M.A. Yusuff Ali in the early 1990s, opened its 200th store in Cairo, Egypt few days ago. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, it is one of the largest Asian retail chains and hailed the biggest in the Middle East with almost 201 retail outlets globally.
The Lulu Group International has employed over 57,000 people and has been expanding its retail chains despite the global repercussions due to Covid-19 pandemic.
