Abu Dhabi Ports Group and the Emirates Classification Society (TASNEEF) have announced opening two new offices in Kuwait: SAFEEN-Kuwait and TASNEEF Maritime. This strategic move aims to enhance maritime cooperation, improve trade flow and develop regional logistics services. The announcement was made during a ceremony held by the UAE embassy, where the UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Matar Al-Neyadi, emphasized the initiative’s role in strengthening economic and investment ties between the two nations.

The newly established offices are expected to strengthen connectivity between local, regional and international markets, facilitating the exchange of goods and services. Dr. Al-Neyadi praised Abu Dhabi Ports Group and TASNEEF for their efforts in entering the Kuwaiti market, highlighting the wide range of distinguished services that will benefit clients and traders on a global scale.

The SAFEEN-Kuwait office marks the Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s first expansion within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states as the group continues to grow its global presence with operations in 50 countries and a portfolio of over 33 international ports and terminals. Waleed Al Tamimi, Executive Vice President of TASNEEF, also noted Kuwait’s importance as a key market for future opportunities and achievements.
