The Abu Dhabi Police have introduced a smart bus equipped with advanced technology to educate the public on the dangers of drug use and prevention methods. This initiative aligns with World Anti-Drug Day on June 26 and carries the slogan, "My family is my greatest wealth".

Colonel Taher Ghareeb Al-Dahiri, from the Anti-Narcotics Directorate, highlighted that the bus, showcased at the Farah Central Center, features smart screens, simulators and VR-virtual learning tools. These technologies aim to illustrate the harmful effects of drugs and provide information on upcoming workshops, lectures, events and conferences related to drug awareness in Abu Dhabi.

The smart bus will target students, mall visitors, community council participants and event attendees, offering educational sessions under staff supervision. Additionally, it supports the goals of the Chance of Hope Service, a program by the Abu Dhabi Police that allows drug users and their families to seek online rehabilitation treatments while maintaining confidentiality.
