US President Donald Trump issued a “last warning” to Hamas on his Truth Social platform, urging the group to accept a ceasefire deal in Gaza.

Trump stated, “The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well.”

While Israel has not officially confirmed this, an Israeli official reportedly said the proposal is being “seriously considered.”

After returning to Washington, Trump also remarked, “We're going to have a Gaza deal soon.”

The proposed agreement includes the release of all remaining hostages on the first day of the truce. In exchange, Israel would release Palestinian prisoners and stop its military operations. Negotiations would follow on ending the broader conflict.

At the end of June, Trump had suggested that a ceasefire in Gaza might be “close,” possibly within a week.

He told reporters, “I just spoke with some of the people involved. It’s a terrible situation that’s going.” He added, “And we think within the next week, we’re going to get a ceasefire, and we’re supplying, as you know, a lot of money and a lot of food to that area.”

Trump did not specify how the agreement would be structured or who he spoke with regarding the ceasefire. “We’re involved because people are dying,” he emphasised.
