Al Jouf: Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports that the Al Jouf University of Saudi Arabia grabbed a place in the QS world rankings of universities for 2023. This is for the second consecutive year, Arab News reported citing SPA.

The SPA's Tuesday report adds that while Al Jouf ranks 701st worldwide, it is the 8th inside the Kingdom. The university was also included in the Times World University Rankings second successive year on the merit of achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The president of Al Jouf Dr Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya lauded the university's international classifications team in addition to Saudi's administration for its relentless support of the Kingdom's education sector. He said the government's support led the university to the milestone.

AL-Shaya received the certificate for the international classification QS.

Meanwhile, both the Governor of the Al-Jawf region and the Minister of Education said that the university is developing its present position and is striving to advance in many sectors of Vision 2030, according to SPA.

Later, the Dean of Scientific Research and Supervisor of the International Classification Unit at Al-Jouf University, Dr Nabil Al-Ruwaili, said that the university's classification proves

the qualitative practices on educational research at the scientific level there.
