Bali/Indonesia: Saudi Arabia assured that it would support and contribute to the positive outcomes of the G20 summit. Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reiterated that the Kingdom would back boosting the global economy, Arab News reported.

Prince Salman also appreciated the positive outcomes in his communication of thanks to Indonesia's President Joko Widodo.

The Saudi Press Agency carried the Prince's statement that Saudi hopes to contribute to the cooperation among G20 nations and boost the global economic growth rates.

Thanking and well-wishing Indonesian president, he said that he wished good health and happiness to the former and progress and prosperity for the Indonesian people.

The G20 summit ended on Wednesday, and it strongly condemned the war in Ukraine. It warned that the war is worsening the world economy. Also, it expressed its concern over the population facing various crises like food and energy.

Meanwhile, the situation in Ukraine worsened during the two-day summit after Russian forces allegedly rained missiles over nuclear power plants in the country. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the attacks resulted in the automatic shutdown of reactors in two power plants, causing a power outage, and millions are affected.

While the West has denounced the war and imposed sanctions, nations such as China and India keep their trade ties with Moscow.
