Saudi Ministry approves new managing committee for Riyadh International Indian School
text_fieldsThe International Indian School Riyadh has constituted a new Managing Committee after receiving approval from the Saudi Ministry of Education.
The development was announced in a circular issued on March 6 by Principal Meera Rahman. The six-member committee has been entrusted with administrative oversight and strategic decision-making for the coming term. It formally took charge in the presence of Vipul Bawa, First Secretary at the Embassy of India and Observer of Indian Schools.
S. Rajadurai has been appointed Chairman. Originally from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, he is an electrical engineer and serves as Sales Manager at Cavallo Contracting Company in Saudi Arabia.
The committee also includes Yash Paul Pahuja of Rajpura, Punjab, Managing Director and Head of Risk Management at Jadwa Investment Company in Riyadh; Jancy Predin from Kottarakkara, Kerala, Chairperson of the Nursing Projects and Regulation Department at King Fahad Medical City and a community social worker; CMA Suhail Mankarathodi of Malappuram, Kerala, a finance professional at Bureau Veritas and active social worker; Taha Tahir Patel from Mumbai, Service Operations Excellence Leader at Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia; and Dr. Faisal Imam of Patna, Bihar, Professor at King Saud University in Riyadh.
The school said the formation of the committee follows the regulatory framework set by the Saudi Ministry of Education. Principal Rahman said she expects the experience of the members to strengthen administrative functioning and academic standards at IISR, one of the largest community schools in the Kingdom. She also expressed appreciation for the ministry’s support and said the management would work closely with the new committee in the interest of students.
