Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan joined a panel discussion on pathways to peace between Palestine and Israel during the Munich Security Conference Leaders' Meeting held in AlUla.

The session centered on the ongoing war in Gaza, international efforts toward a ceasefire, and broader initiatives aimed at reducing tensions. Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa participated via video link, while France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot attended in person.

Discussions highlighted the growing number of countries that have recognized the State of Palestine, framing it as a step toward advancing the two-state solution and regional stability.

Panelists also stressed the importance of implementing international resolutions, alleviating humanitarian suffering, and ensuring access for aid deliveries into Gaza. Attention was drawn to the recent Two-State Solution Conference, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France, which produced a consensus on the need to put its declaration into action. That declaration emphasized peace, development and a long-term resolution to the Palestinian–Israeli conflict.
