Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense has issued a weather alert warning of heavy rainfall and potential flooding across several regions of the Kingdom until Tuesday.

According to an advisory published by the Saudi Press Agency late Thursday, Makkah is expected to witness moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by hail and strong winds. Riyadh may also experience significant rainfall, while lighter showers are forecast for Najran in the southwest.

The advisory further noted that rainfall could affect the western regions, including Madinah, Al-Baha, Asir and Jazan, as well as central areas such as Qassim and Hail, the Northern Borders and the Eastern Province.

Authorities have urged residents to stay alert, avoid low-lying or flood-prone areas, and follow safety instructions disseminated through official media channels.

The Civil Defense stressed the importance of adhering to weather-related guidelines to ensure public safety amid the unstable weather conditions.
