Saudi Airline Flynas launches direct flights from 3 UAE cities with fares starting at Dh239
text_fieldsSaudi Arabia's low-cost airline, Flynas, has announced the launch of direct flights between key Saudi cities and several major destinations in the UAE, starting September 1. The routes will connect Riyadh with Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport, Jeddah with Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and Madinah with both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
Fares on these new routes are competitively priced, with tickets from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah to Madinah starting at Dh249. Flights from Dubai to Riyadh are priced as low as Dh239, while flights to Jeddah start at Dh365.
In 2020, Saudi Arabia dominated outbound travel from the UAE, accounting for 30% of departures, and was among the top inbound travel destinations along with India. Airlines such as Flydubai, Air Arabia, Saudia, Emirates and Etihad Airways already operate between the two countries. However, Flynas will become the only Saudi airline serving all four major UAE airports, reinforcing its presence in the Gulf region.
Operating over 1,500 weekly flights, Flynas connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations and has flown over 78 million passengers since its inception in 2007.
