Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received a telephone call from US President Donald Trump on Thursday, during which they discussed regional developments and diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.

According to a statement issued by the Amiri Diwan, the two leaders reviewed the latest regional and international developments, with particular focus on efforts to restore stability in the region.

The discussions also covered coordination related to an expected agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the war.

Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining regional security and stability and highlighted the need for intensified diplomatic efforts to resolve disputes through dialogue and peaceful means.

Sheikh Sabah welcomed progress towards an agreement between the parties and expressed support for initiatives that strengthen regional and international security while creating greater opportunities for peace and cooperation.

The Crown Prince also praised President Trump’s efforts in supporting attempts to bring the conflict to an end.
