King Abdulaziz Quran competition judges hear 15 contestants on fifth day

The 44th session of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, continued its proceedings on its fifth day.
The judging panel evaluated recitations from 15 contestants, with 8 participants in the morning and 7 in the evening, hailing from diverse countries. This brought the total number of contestants assessed to 99.
Held at the Grand Mosque, the competition saw participants from Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Algeria, the Maldives, the Central African Republic, Madagascar, Gambia, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Sudan, Bangladesh and Kazakhstan.
The competition will resume on Thursday, with more contestants expected to showcase their Quranic memorization and recitation skills.
