The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has inaugurated Arabic Language Month in Thailand, collaborating with Krirk University in Bangkok and Prince of Songkla University in Hat Yai. The initiative, which began on Wednesday and is set to run until November 29, seeks to bolster Arabic language education through a range of programs and activities aimed at curriculum development, teacher training and cultural promotion.

This comprehensive program offers four specialized courses tailored to enhance the teaching capabilities of Arabic language instructors working with non-native speakers. These courses are designed to focus on modern pedagogical approaches and aim to support teachers in delivering a more effective language-learning experience.

Arabic Language Month in Thailand also includes a scientific symposium and two panel discussions, fostering academic dialogue on Arabic education and Saudi Arabia’s initiatives in the field. These events underline the commitment of the King Salman academy to promote Arabic and further strengthen educational ties between Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

Saudi Arabia’s initiative to promote Arabic education on a global scale is part of the King Salman academy's broader outreach, which has included similar programs in Indonesia, China, India, France and Brazil. Last month, Arabic Language Month took place in France, where the academy engaged with local educational institutions and Arabic language centers to explore curriculum development and enhance Arabic language learning frameworks within the French educational system.

This latest program in Thailand highlights Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to supporting Arabic language education worldwide, with a focus on empowering educators and enriching Arabic language curricula for international learners.
