Apple signs lease to open flagship store in Diriyah Square
text_fieldsDiriyah Co. said on Monday that Apple has finalized a lease to establish a flagship store in Diriyah Square. The move places one of the world’s most recognized brands at the center of the retail district’s ongoing development, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The agreement comes shortly after Apple confirmed that it will introduce its first series of flagship stores in Saudi Arabia beginning in 2026, with Diriyah among the initial locations. The store will sit near At-Turaif, the UNESCO World Heritage Site anchoring the historic core of Diriyah.
Diriyah Co. group CEO Jerry Inzerillo described Apple’s commitment as a significant step in shaping the commercial identity of Diriyah Square.
He said, “having this iconic flagship store in the heart of Diriyah Square is an incredible milestone for Diriyah, ‘The City of Earth’, and for Apple as one of our most esteemed retail partners”.
Company officials stated that Apple’s entry marks the district’s growing role as a national center for lifestyle, culture and retail, where major international names will operate alongside elements of Saudi heritage and design.
