YouTuber held for raping, blackmailing woman in Kerala

Kochi: A 25-year-old YouTuber has been arrested in Kerala for allegedly raping a woman he befriended through social media, police said on Sunday.
The accused, identified as Mohammed Nishal from Kozhikode, was taken into custody by Kalamassery police on Saturday following a complaint filed by the victim. According to the complaint, Nishal sexually assaulted the woman twice after blackmailing her with objectionable photos and videos. He allegedly threatened to post the content on social media and send it to her husband, police said.
Investigators have revealed that Nishal is already facing similar cases in multiple police stations.
Following his arrest, he was produced before a local court, which remanded him to judicial custody, police added.
