Two youths riding to Goa to watch ISL die in accident

Kasaragod: Two youths hailing from Othungal, Kotakal in Malapuram district were riding to Goa to watch finals of Indian super League (ISL) when they met with an accident and died early on Sunday morning.

As other friends of the duo travelling in motorbikes and a car reached Mangalore, they tried to reach them out to their phones.

To their great shock, police answered the call informing of the accident.

Jamsheer and Mohammed Shabir were riding a two-wheeler when a mini lorry hit their vehicle from behind killing the two on the spot at Uduma in Kasargod district.

Malappuram is known for die-hard football fans alongside some major tournaments. Both youths were friends of Hyderabad FC's player Abdul Rabih

In the Indian Super League (ISL) final between Kerala Blasters and Hyderabad FC will take place in Goa on Sunday evening.

The mortal remains of the duo have been shifted to Kasaragod General Hospital for post mortem.
