Having been hit by several murders and rising crime rates, the local police here turned to vaastu shastra for protection against evil eyes and to spread positive energy.

The police removed asbestos sheets from the front yard of the police station and reinstalled them on the advice of a vaastu expert.

occurred within the police station.
Between December 5 and March, four murder cases took place within the Cherpu police station.
