Obscene remark at school girl: Reporter Lives Arun Kumar booked

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights filed a case against Reporter channel anchor Arun Kumar. The case is based on allegations that Arun Kumar used obscene language towards a girl who was performing an oppana on stage while presenting School Kalotsavam news.

Child Rights Commission Chairperson KV Manojkumar announced that a suo motu case had been registered in connection with Dr Arunkumar's use of obscene language in a news conference related to the State School Kalolsavam.

It is also alleged that Reporter Channel's reporter Shahbaz used double-meaning expressions at a participant in the item Oppana. The commission took up the case after a video went viral on social media. It has sought an explanation from the channel on the matter and directed the Thiruvananthapuram District Police Chief to submit a report.
