Narendra Modi & BJP are scared of Rahul Gandhi: PK Kunhalikutty
text_fieldsKannur: Indian Union Muslim League National General Secretary PK Kunhalikutty said in a press conference that Narendra Modi and BJP have started fearing Rahul Gandhi. He pointed out that a statement by the Prime Minister slamming Rahul Gandhi shows that the BJP is afraid of his presence in north India. BJP also fears that the INDIA bloc will win more seats in north India, the Kunhalikutty said.
He continued that Congress must get more seats if India wants to survive. In an interview given to a channel, the Prime Minister said that Rahul Gandhi would leave Kerala after the election, he said. The reason behind this statement is that the BJP is very much afraid of Rahul coming to North India, the IUML leader said.
He said that people need to know why the saffron party is scared like this. BJP has lost its confidence and will lose power after the polls, he claimed. The party will not even get close to a majority for sure. A quiet change is taking place across the country, and BJP is in turmoil. Therefore, there is good hope for the INDIA alliance, the leader said, adding that Kerala wants Rahul Gandhi to increase his majority in Kerala.
According to him, nobody dislikes Rahul Gandhi contesting in Kerala. Congress's aim is only to get a majority for the INDIA alliance, and that goal is about to be achieved, he said.
He is positive that there is a wave of UDF in Kerala. Keralites want a change of government both in the Centre and the state, he said. This time, CPI(M) cannot commit malpractices since UDF workers are very alert. Kunhalikutty said they are vigilant in polling booths across the state.
