Major fire destroys waste management factory in Kozhikode; no casualties reported

Kozhikode: A massive fire broke out early Thursday morning at a waste management factory in Thamarassery, completely destroying the facility and a vehicle parked on the premises.
According to police, the blaze began around 3:00 am. The intensity of the fire reduced the building, including the office section, to ruins. A pickup van parked at the site was also gutted in the incident. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
Fire and Rescue Services units from Mukkom and Vellimadukunnu responded swiftly to the alert. Personnel battled the flames for several hours before managing to bring the situation under control.
Authorities stated that the exact cause of the fire remains unknown. An investigation has been launched to determine the source of the outbreak.
