Kozhikode /Kerala: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda claimed on Friday that Kerala is becoming a breeding ground for Islamic terrorists and the LDF government is endorsing the same, backing political killers.

Addressing a mass rally in Kozhikode, he also alleged that State Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is hiding that the Union government provides many welfare aids to Kerala.

Nadda further claimed that the enormous demography changes that came to Kerala are making society uncomfortable. Such changes came under a government that drives the policy of divide and rule. He said that Christian communities in the state are concerned about narcotic jihad.

Nadda claimed that Kerala was witnessing an unusual growth of crimes under the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government, citing the National Crime Records Bureau and alleged that the government is only promoting pseudo-secularism, The Hindu reports.

Referring to the recent p[olitical killings in the state, Nadda said that the state government's political vendetta is making minorities and political parties uncomfortable.

He went on to claim that Pinarayi Vijayan is not acknowledging that it was under the Modi government in the Centre that Kerala received many benefits, including preventive vaccines for many diseases. Before NDA, the whole country used to wait for such aid for decades. According to him, it was during BJP led NDA government that about 12 per cent of people in the Below Poverty Line category saw improvement in their living conditions and reached Above Poverty Line.
