Kochi: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Power Minster Aryadan Mohammed will challenge with an appeal in the High Court on Friday the Vigilance court order to file an FIR against them in connection with the solar panel scam.
The duo will approach the High Court as individuals stating that the Vigilance Court gave the order not keeping the Supreme Court’s previous orders in similar cases.
An appeal in the name of the government will lead to unnecessary controversies. That is why the Chief Minister and Ayadan Muhammed decided to move the High Court on themselves.
