New Delhi: A store selling Rs 178 replicas of Nita Ambani’s Rs 500-crore emerald necklace has gained huge attention on social media.
Industrialist Harsh Goenka has reacted to the viral video of the necklace’s replica saying ‘Ab kya boloon! #marketing.’

Nita Ambani’s wore the emerald necklace at the pre-wedding celebrations of her son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.
“Nita Ambani ji’s necklace is available for just Rs 178. I want you to give a gist of the price and the products that we sell. Customers are asking us to reveal the price. Only wholesale, no retail,” the man in the video was quoted as saying.
The video went viral gaining over 31,50,000 views on X, alongside several reactions on social media users.
One user responded to it saying: “Well india is best country for copy and paste.”
Another user said: “This has always been prevalent in our markets. Anyone remembers Taimur dolls? Even a kid was not left from this. Sad!”
A third user however said the necklace was having a ‘hypnotic appeal’, adding ‘Knowing it one can’t allow it to influence the mind ….. Marketing strategy know it well than one can come out of it.”
Nita Ambani wore for the pre-wedding celebrations a huge diamond ring known as the Mirror of Paradise.
Daily Mail reported that the Ambanis spent around $120 million (approximately Rs 1,259 crore) for the three-day celebrations in Gujarat.
