Trevor Noah talks about farmers' protests in his Daily Show

Explaining the reason for the choice of topic from India, he said, "In the year of protests, they are in the midst of the biggest one anywhere."
In the episode released yesterday, Noah condensed a quick and quirky explanation of the Indian farming scenario, the controversial farm laws, the violence that ensued on Republic Day, and farmers' resolve to carry on with the protests. Following the outpour of support from international figures, the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement calling to "ascertain facts" before comment that Trevor attempted at in the eight-minute-long video.
