Chennai: A tea estate in Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, stood out with an extraordinary Diwali surprise for its workers. The tea estate, located in the Nilgiri district, gifted its employees brand-new Royal Enfield bikes as a token of appreciation.

Typically companies provide traditional gifts such as vouchers, sweets, and clothing.

A heartwarming video circulating on social media captured the heartwarming moment when the tea estate's employees were presented with the keys to their Royal Enfield bikes. Following the surprise, the 42-year-old estate owner joined in the joyous occasion, embarking on a celebratory ride with his delighted staff. The employees expressed their gratitude to the owner for creating a truly memorable Diwali celebration this year.

One of the ecstatic employees shared, "We were never expecting this type of gift. He [the owner] gifted around 15 Royal Enfield bikes, allowing us to choose the ones we preferred. It's something I believe nobody else could ever imagine receiving, but we were the fortunate recipients of this incredible gift. We feel blessed by his kindness and the remarkable teamwork we've achieved together."

This heartwarming gesture is similar to another Diwali surprise by the owner of a pharmaceutical company in Haryana. MK Bhatia, the chairman of MitsKart, shared his appreciation for the dedication and hard work of his staff by gifting 12 employees, including an office helper, brand-new Tata Punch cars as a Diwali gift. This kind act was celebrated on social media, as the employees had been with the company since its inception a few years ago.

Diwali, the Festival of Lights, holds a special place in the hearts of people across India. It signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Celebrated with fervor and devotion, it is a time when people decorate their homes, exchange gifts, and offer prayers, marking the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and his victory over King Ravana, according to Hindu mythology.

Diwali falls on November 12 this year.
