TCS conversion case: House sheltering Nida Khan faces bulldozer, says Maha minister

Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister Sanjay Shirsat announced Monday that the house sheltering Nida Khan—key accused in the TCS forced conversion scandal—will face demolition in a day or two for illegal construction.
Khan, a Nashik TCS employee, hid for over 35-40 days at AIMIM corporator Mateen Patel’s residence before her arrest two days ago. Nashik Police named Patel an accused for harbouring her.
Shirsat termed the cover-up grave, holding Patel complicit. “The Municipal Corporation has given a three-day notice to the corporator, and it will certainly face demolition,” he told IANS.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi defended Khan, alleging targeting over her faith, media trial, and flimsy charges denying her HR role in conversions.
Shirsat slammed Owaisi, accusing AIMIM of fostering “radical extremists” for ideology. He endorsed MP Nitesh Rane’s barbs likening Owaisi to Osama bin Laden or worse, a “street thief”.
