A video showed two girls who were trapped inside the hostel located in the Knowledge Park-3 area jumping from the second floor, India Today reported.
One of the girls tried vainly to reach a ladder somebody placed against the wall but eventually scrambled down, falling to the ground.
The fire reportedly broke out at the Annapurna Girls Hostel following a blast in the AC installed there.
