External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Johannesburg, where they discussed key aspects of India-China relations, including border management and the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the discussions, which lasted approximately 30 minutes, covered developments in bilateral ties since their last meeting in November.

MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that both ministers deliberated on maintaining peace and stability along the border, as well as improving flight connectivity and travel facilitation between the two countries.

In addition to bilateral issues, the leaders exchanged views on international forums such as the G20 and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Jaishankar's visit to South Africa is part of a two-day trip to attend the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, where global diplomatic and economic challenges are being discussed.
