Rahul Gandhi visits Goa, meets Congress MLAs

Panaji: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on a private visit to Goa, met the party MLAs from the state and had dinner with them on Wednesday.
In the 40-member Goa Assembly, the Congress has three MLAs.
Gandhi arrived at the Dabolim airport in Goa on Wednesday night and party workers welcomed him shouting slogans like "Jodo Jodo, Bharat Jodo".
"We don't have his schedule as he is on his private visit. But he may meet some eminent personalities of the state and also our key leaders," Congress sources said on Thursday.
He is scheduled to return to New Delhi later in the day, Goa Congress MLA Carlos Ferreira said.
After the formation of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), Congress leaders have embarked on visits across the country.
