PM Modi offers all ‘possible help’ to Revanth Reddy administration

New Delhi: As Revanth Reddy administration has taken oath today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered all ‘possible support for the state's progress’.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai administered the oath of office to Revanth Reddy and 11 other ministers in Hyderabad’s LB Stadium, NDTV reported

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who has taken oath along with the ministers, is the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana.

As the oath is taking place, PM Modi congratulated the young leader on becoming the chief minister of the state with a thumping majority.

‘Congratulations to Shri Revanth Reddy Garu on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana. I assure all possible support to further the progress of the state and the welfare of its citizens,’ Prime Minister posted on X.

Gaddam Prasad Kumar has sworn in as the Speaker of the Telangana Assembly.

Revanth Reddy, who is fondly called as ‘Tiger Revanth’, took on K Chandrashekar Rao, the leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Revanth has brought Congress into power beating BRS for the first time since the state’s formation in 2014, by winning 65 out of 119 Assembly seats.

Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were among those attended the grand oath-taking ceremony.

Those who have taken oath include Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Dana Anasuya, Tummala Nageswar Rao, Konda Surekha, and Jupally Krishna Rao.
