Thane: The Navi Mumbai police on Thursday registered a case against the owners of nine Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for allegedly hacking into an online food company’s server and causing a loss of over 4 lakhs.

Based on a complaint, the police filed a case under relevant provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act against owners of the IP addresses, an official said on Friday.
