New Delhi: Police on Friday informed that a 28-year-old woman got raped in a hotel room in southwest Delhi's Dwarka by a man she met on a dating app, PTI reported.
Police added that the accused, a native of Hyderabad, is absconding.
According to the complaint the survivor filed before police, she met the man on the digital platform, went to the hotel with the man on May 30 and got sexually assaulted by him.
The man has stopped picking up her calls since then, she adds in her complaint.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M Harsha Vardhan said that a complaint had been registered against the man, and police have initiated efforts to nab him.
