In continuation of the verbal fighting between Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Governer Jagdeep Dhankar, CM Mamata has blocked the governor on Twitter. Mamtha stated that she is tired of the daily abuses from the governor.

On the other side, the governor has been continuously attacking the Bengal government using terms like no rule of law, democracy is at stake, life is under threat, and Bengal is almost like a gas chamber.

Mamatha accused Pegasus is operating from Raj Bhavan. There is an all India level Pegasus, and Here in Bengal, Pegasus is working from Raj Bhavan and is accused of snooping the police officers and other government employees. Further, she accused Raj Bhawan of being misused under the governor's instructions. She reminded the governor of the four letters she wrote to the Prime Minister.

Further, Mahama stated that "every morning-evening he tweets accusing and attacking us. As if he is the only supreme and we are bonded labourers. I can not take it. I have blocked him today on #Twitter."

Governor tweeted and the reads as Guv WB : Mandated under Article 159 of the Constitution to ensure none in the state "blocks" Constitutional Norms and Rules of Law and those in authority "bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India
