Mahua Moitra questions why no probe against Dubey for faking certificates, accuses him of hooliganism at airport
text_fieldsKolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha member Mahua Moitra on Tuesday questioned why no probe has been initiated against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey despite her raising charges against him of adopting fake educational certificates almost seven months back.
Moitra also accused Dubey of resorting to hooliganism at the air traffic control (ATC) of an airport.
Late on Tuesday evening, Moitra issued a message on her official X handle, saying, "Who is lying? 2 days ago Fake Degree Wala said NIC already given details including 'Dubai' logins to probe agency. Now @AshwiniVaishnaw says NIC will give info in future IF asked by LS or Ethics Comm. BJP welcome to do hit job on me but Adani+Godda perhaps not best strategists!”
“Amused to hear of @AshwiniVaishnaw letter to Fake Degree Wala promising support in 'probe' against me! Still waiting for HMOIndia & @Ministry_CA to probe Farji Dubey’s illegal entry into airport ATC room last year with kids!” Moitra tweeted.
Earlier, in a series of tweets, Moitra claimed that during the Lok Sabha polls of 2009 and 2014, Dubey’s affidavit mentioned a ‘part-time MBA from Delhi University’ as one of his qualifications.
The TMC MP further tweeted that in the affidavit during the 2019 elections, Dubey made no mention of the MBA degree and only mentioned a PhD degree from Pratap University, Rajasthan. She then shared a document of his PhD application and said he omitted the DU’s MBA degree and, instead, mentioned that he had an MBA degree from Pratap University itself, which was from the 2013-2015 session.
