Three Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) followers arrived at party chief Lalu Yadav's house today riding a buffalo. All of them had stripped down to their waists and had their torsos painted in a dark shade of green.

One of the men was riding a buffalo.

They reached the home of Rabri Devi to pay obeisance to their leader. Lalu-ji keeps talking to us over the phone even when he is in Ranchi or Delhi. He wanted to see us. So here we are, said one of the supporters.

The trio was shouting slogans against the CBI for carrying out raids against Yadav.

Onlookers were amused by the sight and buffalo-riders name - Natwarlal, the name of a conman, who incidentally belonged to Siwan, a district adjacent to Lalu Yadav's ancestral Gopalganj.

One of the men, Mithilesh Pandit said they came all the way from Mahua in the Vaishali district, which is 45 km away. They claimed to consider Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi their grandparents as they considered Tejashwi Yadav their father.

They also said they took off their clothes because children have nothing to hide from their parents. And the buffalo was a "symbol of our leader's journey. He started off herding cattle and reached the top".

They carried a lantern which they said was a sign of their reverence while the slogans against the CBI expressed the anguish they felt over their leader's "harassment through fabricated corruption cases.

The three men were asked to leave by the security personnel.
