India successfully tests indigenous 'Agni Prime' missile
text_fieldsBalasore/ Odisha: The Defence Research and Development Organisation of India (DRDO) of India informed that it had successfully test-launched its indigenous new-generation medium-range ballistic missile 'Agni Prime' from the Odisha coast, PTI reported.
The missile fired up from a mobile launcher from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island around 9:45 am, DRDO sources told PTI.
The sleek missile is solid-fuelled and cannistered. It met all mission parameters during the test. The whole of the missile's navigation was tracked and monitored by radars and telemetry equipment, which were placed at various spots, the sources informed.
According to them, the missiles strike range is between 1000 km and 2,000 km. The missile was last tested on December 18, 2021, and that attempt was successful.
