New Delhi: India on Monday asked the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) not to carry out a communal agenda at the behest of one country, hinting at Pakistan.

India was strongly reacting to the OIC's "unwarranted comments" on the delimitation exercise in Jammu and Kashmir, according to India Today.

Without mincing words, India asserted the Union Territory is India's 'integral' and 'inalienable' part, according to India Today.

The 57-nation bloc earlier expressed "deep concern" over the delimitation of assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir.

The OIC accused India of altering the demographic structure of Union Territory, violating the rights of Kashmiris.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi expressed dismay at OIC's comments on India's internal affairs.

Pakistan Parliament in a resolution previously rejected the delimitation exercise in Jammu and Kashmir.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed "illegal" the redrawing of electoral boundaries in J&K, which he called a violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

The delimitation panel for Jammu and Kashmir in its final report earmarked six additional assembly seats in the Jammu region and one for Kashmir valley, giving 43 seats for Jammu and 47 for the Kashmir division.
