Congress leader Pawan Khera took a jibe at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman by commenting on a tweet which shared a video clip in which Sitharaman's tongue slips, NDTV reported.

The Finance Minister, while making an announcement regarding GST on Wednesday, said "horse-trading" instead of horse-racing. She was talking about the GST council putting off its decision of 28 per cent tax on casinos, online gaming, horse racing and lottery pending consultations.

In the video, Sitharaman said, "The second GOM, related to the betting, gambling, casinos, horse-trading (corrects herself) horse-racing..." NDTV quotes. The Finance Minister's tongue slipping clip was widely shared among netizens.

Congress social media convenor Ruchira Chaturvedi shared the video clip with the comment, "GST on horse-trading?", adding laughing emojis. Later, Pawan Khera commented on the Tweet, "I knew Nirmala Sitharaman ji had the ability to think out of the (ballot) box. Yes, Nirmala ji, there should be GST on horse-trading."

In the first week of August, the GST rates on online gaming, horse racing and casinos get finalized, the minister had said on Wednesday.
